HP Buys Samsung Printer/Copier/MFD Division

In a bold move that has surprised many in the printer & copier industry HP has agreed to purchase The Samsung Print Division for $1.05 Billion. On the same day news of the purchase came to light HP released a large amount of new printer & copier products, many of these printers & photocopiers are already using Samsung technology. This move will surely see HP taking advantage of the many patents Samsung holds for printers and it's hardware technology. Neither HP or Samsung are big players in the large A3 printer copier segment but based on this business decision we imagine HP is looking to stake it's claim.
